All our sweater styles are suitable for men or ladies, and can be made with a turtle neck if required. We can also accommodate special requirements such as extra length on sleeves etc. Just let us know and we'll do our best.
Style 1a:
Probably our most traditional Aran pattern. The trellis design represents the dry stone walls enclosing the small fields of the crofting, communities of the west coast, and the horse shoe cable, the family work-horse.
Style 1 b:
Classic Aran pattern, the diamonds, represent the family's living standard. Filled diamonds displayed wealth, empty diamonds, poverty.
Style 2f:
Wonderful horizontal gansay pattern from an east coast fishing village, "Gansay" from Gaelic word for an outer garment.
Style 10d:
A modern version of a traditional style, this useful sweater is also available in a shorter length and with a crew or roll neck.
Style 53a:
